Guangzhou Evergrande prepared to stump up €95 million for Bale

Welshman has several offers from big clubs, with Man United in pole position

Gareth Bale is questioned by many at Madrid, both the fans and within the club itself, and this fact has not been lost on the teams who are interested in signing him. Although Manchester United are leading the race to get his signature, the Chinese Super League is another possible destination for him as there is a club there that is prepared to splash the cash to get the Welshman.

‘The Mirror’ says Guangzhou Evergrande, current champions, and managed by Fabio Cannavaro, are ready to cough up the €95 million required to sign him. It is just slightly less than Real Madrid paid Tottenham Hotspur for him, but would more or less satisfy the Blancos‘ wish to recuperate the investment made in him.

If Bale should end up at the club where Jackson Martínez currently plays, Madrid would have one more reason to make a push for Eden Hazard, Zidane’s desire, and that of a large part of the hierarchy at the Bernabéu.
